Responsive Drop-in menu for HTML KickStart

Menu Screenshot

I canceled the webinar and instead decided to give you a killer menu.

So... I am cancelling the webinar today. Why? Short answer, no one signed up. I decided to give you guys a menu instead. (link at the bottom)

Learning New things.

I am always trying new things on, trying to see what will work, trying to find a balance between creating awesome tools to share with the community and making a living. I have been experimenting with ways that I can really dig into what I love most - creating tools and doing training for web designers. I am constantly doing client projects and it takes up most of my time. I am looking for ways to make a bit of side money so that I can spend more time making great tools for you guys.

You might have seen that HTML KickStart has been downloaded almost 250,000 times. And the 99lime UIKIT close to 33,000 times. I get around 20 emails a day with encouragement and questions and try to respond to them all the same day. I have a donation button on both of those pages on my website. I am extremely grateful for the donations I get, but to be honest they are few and far between. So I am looking for new ways to do more of what I love – killer tools for you guys & training, and at the same time make a living.

What tools or training would really help you do more?

I need your help. If you have any suggestions of products or training that would really make a difference in your day-to-day production, let me know. Any ideas or suggestions you have. How about a new feature in HTML KickStart that you are always wishing existed? Or a series on building a powerful website with PHP? (I use Processwire). Tell me what you want, I am all ears. Don't wait. Just hit reply. I get every. single. email.

Would you take a minute, hit reply to this email and tell me what you are looking for?

So, dude... where is that menu?

Ah yes, the menu. I have attached a link to download the mobile menu I have been working on. It's super easy to use and you can drop it into any HTML KickStart project in about 30 seconds. It slides over the page, either from the top, right, bottom, or left side of the page. It's built with an unordered list (of course). You only need one class to transform your list into this beautiful menu and It's easy to style with CSS. This is a preview. I am about to release it one the website with some extra cool features, but I wanted to get a little feedback from you guys first.

Give it a try and let me know what you think. (open menu.html)

And hey, if you like this stuff and want more, how about a small donation. It goes a long way.

Happy Coding,
- Joshua
